Online Career
Early Career (2010-2015)
Meadows started off first making music at the age of 16 where he would go by his first moniker, JMEDZ. This nickname was given to Meadows in 9th grade as it is mixing his first and last name together. Meadows was fortunate enough to receive musical equipment from his uncle and a brand new iMac from his grandmother and that is the catalyst that helped start his musical journey. He began by remixing popular songs inside of garageband and uploading the songs onto blogs and early social medias. In high school, Meadows was able to convince his friends to rap along with him and they started a group. From there they released multiple albums, singles and even a very popular music video. Around 2015 is when the group decided to split up and Meadows went on his solo career again. The group would still work as solo artists and feature on each others music.
Solo Music Career (2016-2020)
In late 2016, Meadows moved to Los Angeles, California in hopes of pursing his musical career even further and maybe even other ventures. His plan was to leave Virginia and move in with his uncle who lived in southern California. He released his first ever solo EP titled "Paradigm" in 2017, with the help of his uncle who handled the production. With this project Meadows was able to start a small but growing fanbase. In 2018 he released his first ever solo album, The Book of Brandt, Vol.1 which featured artists Sosi, Cameron Meadows and Breeze God. He followed it up with his 2nd album, Jonreless which featured the song "Genie out the Bottle". A couple of months later Eminem released his diss track "Killshot" which used the same sample as the song "Genie out the Bottle". Meadows was interviewed by the lyrics website, Genius, which he stated that it "could have been a coincidence". In 2019 he dropped his third album, The Meadows Movie, Vol.2, a direct sequel to his first album. Then in early 2020 he released, Capricious which was received very well but he was not gaining the traction in the music industry as he hoped.
Becoming a Content Creator (2021-present)
Since his music wasn't taking off, Meadows began posting videos and memes on his TikTok account. It was at this time he found his passion for content creation and live streaming. His TikTok following started to grow rapidly and he was slowly building a community. His biggest break was when Instagram Reels was introduced and started posting his TikTokvideos on there as well. This is when Meadows came up with the character, the Papaya Penetrator. This was Meadows first real viral video across multiple platforms and gained him a lot of attention and followers. From there both his TikTok& Instagram grew rapidly as he was constantly creating new characters and videos. This is when Meadows crossed over to Youtube and began uploading there and came up with the "Down Horrendous" series. Since of his newly found fame on the internet, Meadows decided to try his hand in music again. He released his fifth album, Spectrum, which was a wide variety of different styles of music. It was received well but still didn't not provide much traction inside the music industry. As his social medias continued to grow, Meadows heavily focused on his comedy skits and different characters. In 2023, he returned back to music but in style of parody with the release of his song Lotion. This is a direct parody of Lil Yachtys song, Poland. Lotion was viral across multiple social medias and has finally sparked a lot of interest in Meadows music. In late March, Meadows went viral on Twitter for his now known meme, "What in tarnations." On April 15th, Meadows is planning on release another parody comedy song, Shawty Wanna F (Classical Edition).
